My local Artisans

Apologies for the small text at the end. I don't know why it's that small but will look into it.

I am proud and fortunate enough to feature three local artisans.

ROSEMARY - with a friend, Rosemary was looking for a store in the shopping center (which no longer exists) and popped in to ask if I knew where it was. We got chatting and the next day Rosemary brought in her microwave cozies she makes. I love them and they are good quality. It is my top selling item. I also feature her hand towels and bags in fun fabrics. Rosemary is a retired nurse and has a busy schedule but takes time out to make her goodies. She has donated some, such as masks during covid and donates a portion of her sales to Shriners Children's Hospital and Tunnels to Towers.

BEAR - love her name and her personality is as sweet as your cuddly toy bear. She had approached Rosemary in a grocery store about her sweatshirt and they got chatting which lead to Bear calling me. She is retired and keeps herself busy making her goodies, such as wreaths, keychains etc.

MICHAEL - I knew Michael from my previous job. A lovey young man who after a short period had to stop working. We found out later, at the young age of 29, he was diagnosed with cancer. Now, at age 33, he is cancer free and his love of creating helped keep him going. So far, I feature his Chain Mail jewelry and wall art. He is expanding into keychains and I guess whatever takes his fancy.

If you or you know someone who makes unique items and would like to feature them in my store, please email me at jennie@mangostreet.love with a description and photos.
